Music in Blois Castle - 1580

Play Video

King Louis XIV attended daily mass in a temporary chapel situated in a room on the second floor of Chambord castle, close to the famous staircases built to Leonardo da Vinci’s drawings. This room, which was not designed for listening to music, had the surprising and unique quality of diffusing the music throughout the rest of the castle.
